berita2.com (Jakarta): Upacara serah terima jabatan (sertijab) Kapolri Komjen Pol Timur Pradopo digelar di Markas Komando Brimob, Kelapa Dua, Depok. Beberapa tamu tampak hadir sebelum upacara diselenggarakan, antara lain Menko Polhukam Djoko Suyanto dan beberapa anggota Komisi III DPR.

Penjagaan di Mako Brimob ketat. Beberapa anggota personel dikerahkan hampir di setiap sudut, Rabu (27/10/2010). Rencananya Sertijab Kapolri akan dilakukan pukul 09.00 WIB.

Seorang anggota Provos terlihat pingsan saat sedang mengamankan lokasi. Tiba-tiba terjatuh dan tubunnya pun masuk ke dalam selokan dengan kedalaman sekitar satu meter.

Sebelumnya, Kepala Badan Pemeliharaan Keamanan Mabes Polri Komjen Timur Pradopo resmi menduduki posisi Kepala Polri setelah dilantik Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono di Istana Negara, Jakarta, Jumat (22/10) sore [baca: Timur Pradopo Resmi Jadi Kapolri]. Pelantikan Timur setelah Rapat Paripurna DPR, secara resmi menyetujui pengangkatan dirinya menjadi kapolri pada Selasa (19/10)
